Wm. Kim Wade has been practicing law in Dallas for over 30 years and has a Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating as AV Preeminent (the highest level of professional excellence). He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1975 and a law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1978. He was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 1978. From 1978-1981, Mr. Wade was employed as an attorney with the law firm of Geary, Porter & Donovan (formerly Geary, Stahl & Spencer). He represented individuals and businesses in general commercial, banking, real estate and civil litigation matters. In 1981 and 1982, he was employed as General Counsel to W.H. Cothrum & Company and negotiated, documented and consummated commercial, real estate, banking and oil and gas transactions. From 1983-1988, Mr. Wade was employed by the United States Department of Justice as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas. He performed civil and criminal trial and appellate work in the U. S. District Court and Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. As an Assistant U. S. Attorney, he received special recognition for his work by the U. S. Postal Inspection Service, U. S. Department of Labor and Office of the State Attorney General.
Mr. Wade served as Vice Chairman and committee member of the State Bar of Texas Sixth District Grievance Committee from 1982-1989 and is a Fellow of the Texas Legal Foundation. He also served as President of the Board of Directors and a Board member of West Dallas Community Centers, Inc, a United Way agency, from 1982-1994. He was appointed by Chief U.S. District Judge Barefoot Sanders as a member of the selection panel for the new U.S. Magistrate-Judge for the Northern District of Texas and served in that capacity in 1993-1994.

She received a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 1976 and a law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1979. She was a visiting student at the University of Texas School of Law in 1978-79. Ms. Wade was licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 1979. She is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the U. S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and all Texas state courts.
From 1983-1989, Ms. Wade was a partner with the law firm of Geary, Porter & Donovan (formerly Geary, Stahl & Spencer) and was an associate attorney for the firm from 1979 to 1983. She engaged in a general business practice, representing individuals and business entities in matters involving corporate, real estate and securities law. For several years, Ms. Wade performed contract legal work on a part-time basis for several Dallas attorneys. Since 2000, she has been an attorney for The Wade Law Firm, P.C. (formerly The Law Office of Wm. Kim Wade) and handles a variety of legal matters. Ms. Wade has been licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance as a title insurance escrow officer since August 2002.
